- 4:56 pm Yoweri Museveni has won a seventh term after securing 71.65 per cent of votes cast in the Ugandan Presidential Elections the the Electoral Commission has declared; Bobi Wine won 24.72 per cent of the votes cast.
- 4:25 pm Francis Atwoli has been re-elected unopposed as General Secretary of the Kenya Plantation and Agricultural Workers Union (KPAWU) for another five-year term.
- 3:51 pm Trade CS Lee Kinyanjui has appointed Nelson Gaichuhie as Chairperson and member of the Board of Directors of the Anti-Counterfeit Authority (ACA) for a three-year term.
- 3:17 pm Treasury CS John Mbadi appointed Risper Olick as a member of the Board of Directors of the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) for a three-year term.
