Yusuf Haji

Yusuf Haji was born on December 23, 1940, in Garissa District, North Eastern Province, which was at the time called the Northern Frontier District.

In 1954-1958, he acquired his KAPE British T. College Secondary Certificate. In 1970-1971 he studied an Advanced Public Administration Course at the Kenya Institute of Administration. He enrolled at the same institution for a Senior Management Course 1982.

Moses Wetangula

Moses Wetangula is a Kenyan politician currently serving as Bungoma County senator and is a former Minority Leader in the Senate. 

He also served as Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2008 to 2010 and from 2011 to 2012, and he was Minister for Trade from 2012 to 2013. 

Amos Wako

Amos Wako is a Kenyan politician and Senior Counsel who was born in 1946 in Bukhayo, Busia District.

He is a former Attorney General and the current Senator for Busia county. 

Margaret Kamar

Prof Margaret Kamar is a Kenyan politician and scholar who is serving as the Senator for Uasin Gishu County and the Deputy Speaker of the Senate.

She is the first elected female Deputy Speaker in the history of the Kenyan Parliament.

Cleophas Malala

Cleophas Malala is a Kenyan politician and the current  senator for Kakamega County. He sat for his Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education at Friends school Kamusinga before proceeding to USIU for his bachelor's degree. 

Kithure Kindiki

Abraham Kithure Kindiki was born in 1973 in Irunduni village in Mukothima Ward in Tharaka Nithi County. He is currently the senator for Tharaka Nithi County.

Between 1994 and 1998 Kindiki was at Moi University undertaking a degree in law. 

Samuel Poghisio

Samuel Losuron Poghisio is a Kenyan politician who has served this country in different political positions since 1988. 

He joined parliament in 1988 through the KANU ticket but only served for a few months before he was unceremoniously removed. He recaptured the seat of Kacheliba constituency in 1997, 2002 and 2007 only to lose in 2013. 

Isaac Mwaura

Isaac Mwaura is a nominated senator representing persons living with disabilities in Parliament and has helped increase their visibility in national mainstream politics.

Samson Ongeri

Samson Ongeri is the incumbent Senator for Kisii County. He was first elected to Parliament as Nyaribari MP in 1988 and was a member until 1992. 

Ongeri has served as Minister of Education from 2007 to 2012 and Foreign Minister between 2012 and 2013. He unsuccessfully vied for the Kisii senate position in 2013 before clinching the seat in 2017.
