CASIO, a technological Company, opened its second shop in Kenya and the first in Mombasa on Saturday, May 11.
Takashi Seimiya, the Managing Director of CASIO Middle East and Africa FZE, while addressing the opening event at Promenade Mall, noted that the company opened its second Casio G-Shock shop because the local jewel and watches industry was growing at a rapid rate.
“Kenya's watches and jewelry market is among the fastest growing in the continent. It is with this in mind that we are opening our second G-Shock store in Kenya and the first in Mombasa,” he stated.
“As more and more Kenyans desire Casio watches, as a company, we are committed to meeting the market demand and providing exceptional products, coupled with unmatched service delivery, as we continue to expand our presence in the Kenyan market."
CASIO opened its first G-Shock store in Nairobi last year and plans to grow profits locally with double digits in a few years.
