Bolt Partners With Red Cross To Raise 10 Million for Flood Victims

Bolt has partnered with the Kenya Red Cross to offer support to flood victims across th country through a new category on the app, 'Flood Assist'.

Through this, the company aims to raise Ksh5 million and top off with Ksh5 million which is the initial contribution and will go towards the victims. 

These funds will be used to provide relief food, relocation support, and reconstruction of water, sanitation, and hygiene facilities in affected areas.

Linda Ndungu , the County Manager for Bolt Kenya, explained that the company aims to inspire and encourage Kenyans to join in supporting all the victims. 

She added that this made their platform make a more meaningful impact and provide much-needed assistance.

"As a mobility company rooted in the communities we serve, we believe we must support those in need during challenging times," she added as the Red Cross lauded the company for the support to improve the lives of the victims.
