Equity Bank on Friday held a forum for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Meru County.
According to the bank's Managing Director, Gerald Warui, the forum was aimed at supporting the SMEs to grow by expanding their operations beyond the Kenyan borders.
Warui further underscored the vast investment opportunities available within Meru County and the East African Community particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
“The bank’s commitment to digitization helps businesses streamline their operations, improve efficiency, and stay competitive. By focusing on the specific needs of SMEs, Equity Bank ensures that entrepreneurs have access to the necessary resources and support to succeed in local markets as well as new markets like the DRC,” he stated.
