Africa streamer Showmax has appointed Emma Gichonge as its first-ever General Manager for Operations for East Africa.

Speaking while accepting the role, Gichonge noted that the streamer was working with Safaricom to re-integrate in-app M-pesa payments with their new technology, advising customers to pay using the USSD *375#, with a promise to launch the prior soon.
