Safaricom Promises Ksh 20M Funding Towards 5-Day Continental Summit in Nairobi

Safaricom on Thursday, April 18 committed to power the Connected Africa Summit 2024 set to be held from 21 April to 25 April at Uhuru Gardens.

Peter Ndegwa the CEO at Safaricom stated that the company will sponsor the event with Ksh20 million by providing various services such as WiFi, Network Optimisation, Experiential Tech showcases branding, merchandise and customer engagements.  The summit’s theme is "Shaping the Future of a Connected Africa: Unlocking Growth Beyond Connectivity," which aligns with Safaricom's vision of powering digital societies and driving a sustainable future for the continent

The Connected Africa Summit 2024 is a platform for  African leaders, investors, and businesses to come together and harness the vast opportunities presented by the digital economy while addressing barriers and pressing issues affecting our economies.
