Francis Ontomwa

Francis Ontomwa is KTN's bilingual Coast reporter. Many still refer to him as the 'Bukusu Darling' for the captivating love story he broke for KTN in July 2013 between an Asian lady and a Bukusu man. 

The award winning and talented journalist graduated from Masinde Muliro University in 2012 with a degree in Linguistics starting his career as a print journalist at the Standard Group in Western Kenya. In 2013 he was named KTN's best bureau reporter in three successive quarters.

Francis Mtalaki alijiunga na KTN Machi 2013 na kupata mafunzo ya kazi kwa muda wa miezi sita kabla ya kupokea kandarasi ya kufanya kazi na KTN. Amezuru kaunti mbali mbali humu nchini kama vile kaunti za Kajiado, Taita Taveta , Murang’a, Garissa na nyinginezo.

Katika muda huu ameweza kuangazia taarifa tofauti kutoka nyanja mbalimbali kama vile maswala ya afya, siasa, yanaojiri, wanachopitia familia vitongojini na hata tamaduni za jamii tofauti humu nchini.

Dorcas Wangira

Dennis Onsarigo

Dennis Onsarigo is an investigative journalist at Standard Media Group with over 7 years experience.

He hosts Kenya's first Tv crimes series  'Case Files' which gives sentenced individuals to talk about the crimes that landed them behind bars.

The Show airs on KTN and KTNNews.

Betty Kyalo

Betty Kyalo is a TV anchor at Standard Media Group hosting the Friday Briefing News on KTN.

She has interviewed a number of personalities including Raila Odinga.

She won the 2017 Social Media Awards (SOMA) for the Media Personality of The Year. 

Ben Kitili

Prime time news anchor and political editor for KTN

Ben anchors KTN Prime, the network’s premier news bulletin that airs Monday - Thursday at 9 PM. He is paired with Lindah Oguttu on the KTN Prime set, a pairing that goes back several years since their time at NTV.

As the KTN political editor, he is charged with ensuring concise and analytical political news coverage. He spearheads all political news operations at KTN and also files reports on KTN Prime when not on set.

Ali Khamis Manzu

Ali Khamis Manzu is a practicing journalist with special attention to human interest stories, current affairs, health, wildlife and conservation.

He started practicing in 2002, Mombasa County as an intern at the KBC’s Sauti House doing video production. While he was there, Manzu worked on ‘Penzi Hatari’, a classic local TV show.

Manzu moved on to Radio Rahma in Mombasa. It was a religious station which helped him become who he is today. He perfected his radio production skills through different departments in radio.

Aby Agina

From reading newspaper cuttings to his dad during his childhood Aby Agina a seasoned business journalist currently working with Nation Media Group shares his journalistic journey.

Journalism to me was hatched way back in the late 80's. At the age of three years, I would read articles of the Daily Nation newspaper to my dad. I was to later join and write for the same publication at Kenya's leading Media House in East and Central Africa a few years later.

Joy Doreen Biira

Joy Doreen Biira (born September 5, 1986) is a Broadcaster of Ugandan descent. Joy is also a Voice-over Artist, speaker, writer & part-time Editorial Print model. 

Currently working with KTN KENYA, the lead Television Channel in Kenya that she joined Late December 2011. Joy before moving to Kenya worked as a News anchor / Show host on NBS Television and Radio Presenter on Capital Radio Ltd 91.3 FM in Uganda, and was then among the youngest media personalities in the Anchoring Broadcast speciality of Journalism.
