AzimioLa Umoja-One Kenya co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka's son Kelvin Muasya on Saturday, May 11 had a traditional wedding with Sharon Nthoki, the Machakos County CEC for Trade, Tourism, Industry and Innovation.
Nthoki and Muasya tied the knot at their parents' home in Maanzoni in Machakos County where Orange Democratic Party (ODM) leader Raila Odinga was in attendance.
"A happy afternoon in Machakos County at the traditional wedding of Sharon Nthoki and Kelvin Muasya, son of my brother Kalonzo Musyoka in Maanzoni. Congrats to the couple; may bliss accompany them in this journey together," Raila Odinga said through his official social media accounts.
The bride and groom were donned in emerald green outfits. The colour was also used as the theme for the centrepieces on each of the tables at the traditional wedding.
Meanwhile, the groomsmen were dressed in brown suits and white sneakers with some adding sunglasses to their outfits.
Nzoki's bridesmaids on the other hand were donned in brown sequin dresses topped with various accessories.
While announcing the traditional wedding Kalonzo remarked that his son had married "his rib and God's appointed helper in Nthoki".
He lauded the couple for allowing him to be part of the wonderful day and witness them start a new chapter of their lives. He wished them happiness adding that their love should grow stronger with each passing year.
"Asante sana Azimo La Umoja One Kenya Party leader Raila Odinga for joining us and sharing a beautiful message. To our family and friends, your presence was invaluable," Kalonzo said.
Kalonzo Musyoka was accompanied by Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti, former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya, and Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi to the beautiful ceremony.
Other leaders at the ceremony were DAP Kenya party leader Eugene Wamalwa and Jubilee Party Secretary General Jeremiah Kioni, Makueni Governor Mutala Kilonzo Jr and county leaders.
Additionally, Muasya's brother Kennedy Musyoka was at the event. Kennedy is a member of the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA).
