An auctioneer has put up various vehicles for sale by way of public auction, with different models going for as low as Ksh172,000.
In a notice published in one of the local dailies on Monday, Onyango and Tarus, a company acting on behalf of the auctioneer, announced that the vehicles were available for viewing at various yards across the country.
Among the lowest-priced vehicles put up for auction include a 2016 Toyota Vitz going for Ksh173,000 (available at Valuers Yard - Roasters, Nairobi), a 2008 Toyota Passo at Ksh264,000, and an Isuzu Tir 54 S/C I-190 4X2 going for Ksh244,000, available at Auto Gallery Ltd - Westlands.
Those looking to own affordable personal cars have the opportunity to bid on and acquire a Mitsubishi Lancer CS5W for Ksh299,000, a 2000 Mitsubishi Pajero IO 1.8 for Ksh274,000, and a 2012 Mitsubishi Colt available for Ksh444,000.
Still, within the same category, the auctioneer announced that they had a 2004 Volkswagen Golf available at Stractbuck Yard in Malindi, going for Ksh304,000 and a 2003 Subaru Legacy at Ksh425,000.
Individuals seeking to own mid-range personal cars have also been offered a wide range of cars to choose from and at affordable prices.
Among the mid-priced cars available for auction are a Toyota Crown GRS180 at Ksh612,000, a 2013 Toyota Fielder NZE161 going for Ksh851,000, and a Toyota Fielder ZRE142G-AWXAK at Ksh782,000.
Additionally, a 2006 Toyota Hilux LAN25R is available at Ksh569,000, a 2011 Toyota Hiace TRH200 is going for Ksh635,000, and a 2007 Mercedes C200 is listed at Ksh652,000.
Further, a 2010 Toyota TownAce S402M is being auctioned at Ksh439,000, a Toyota Probox at Ksh522,000, and a 2010 Toyota Crown Royal at Ksh803,000.
The only vehicle priced above Ksh1 million is a 2014 Toyota Fielder ZRE162, available at Ksh1,025,000, which can be viewed at Auto Gallery Ltd in Westlands, Nairobi.
Interested buyers must submit their bids via the auctioneer’s website no later than April 1, 2025, to participate in the auction.
"Offers should be submitted on www.eezycars.co.ke no later than April 1, 2025. Vehicles are sold on an 'as is, where is' basis," the notice added.
