Super Metro Sacco has blamed an accident where one of its buses overturned along the Thika Super Highway on a speeding lorry.

Several passengers were injured after the bus collided with the lorry, veered off the road, and overturned near Burudani Address in Juja. The crash caused panic among commuters and a snarl-up on the road on the busy highway.

In a statement on Tuesday, June 10, the sacco claimed that investigations have revealed that the lorry was swerving while at high speeds before it eventually collided with the bus.

The bus was heading to the Nairobi CBD from Juja Town, using the service lane on the superhighway.
