Second Baby in Two Months

On May 14, Kenyans expressed joy after a passenger aboard assisted a woman in delivering her baby after she went into labour during the journey. This incident occurred in the morning as the bus departed Nairobi at 7:30 am heading towards Nyamira and Kendu Bay.

During a phone call with the Adur, he confirmed that the passenger went into labour after departure near the Ngara flyover.

Adur said that the expectant mother began experiencing labour pains in the bus, forcing passengers to take action. They were taken to a nearby hospital for further medical attention.

“Today, we are lucky that we got a visitor on one of our buses after just celebrating Mother's Day last week. Our Nairobi-Kindu Bay-bound bus left Nairobi at 7:30 am," the officer said.
