The committee, which was appointed by President William Ruto and ODM party leader Raila Odinga to oversee the implementation of the ten-point agenda and the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) report, has completed its initial report and is now focused on the rollout of its work.
The committee, chaired by ODM-nominated Senator Agnes Zani, revealed that they have formed five sub-committees to engage with the public and other stakeholders. The committee has also named Javas Bigambo as vice-chair.
"The committee has organized its operations and has elected Javas Bigambo as the vice chair and has formed five subcommittees through which the public and various stakeholders will be engaged," a statement by the committee read.
The other members of the five-team committee are Fatuma Ibrahim, Gabriel Oguda, and Kevin Kiarie.
"On 6th August 2025, His Excellency President William Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya and Party Leader of UDA Party, and the Right Raila Amollo Odinga, Party Leader of the ODM Party, established a Five-Member Committee to Oversee the Implementation of the Ten-Point Agenda and the NADCO Report," the statement added.
According to the statement, the committee has already completed its initial report and is now planning to engage with stakeholders.
The committee stated that its primary objective is to conduct extensive and inclusive consultations with a broad range of stakeholders, including members of the public, government ministries, independent commissions, civil society, trade unions, and various community and minority groups.
In the statement, their ultimate goal is to ensure the successful implementation of the entire NADCO report and the ten-point agenda signed by ODM and UDA parties, addressing key areas such as existing policies, legislative changes, and administrative measures.
The committee extended an invitation to the public and other stakeholders to participate in upcoming scheduled forums, which will be announced in the days ahead.
On August 6, President Ruto confirmed that Senator Zani and four other individuals would be tasked with overseeing the implementation of the 10-Point Agenda, which was agreed upon by him and ODM's Raila.
The five were entrusted with translating the political agreement into solid national outcomes through broad-based consultation and engaging stakeholders about the NADCO report.
Besides the five-member committee, a joint secretariat, which will be co-led by Executive Secretaries from UDA and ODM, has also been established to provide technical and operational support to the committee.
