The Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB) has released its examination notice for the December 2025 exams, noting key dates, registration deadlines, and payment guidelines for candidates.

In a notice published in MyGov on September 9, KASNEB announced that the December 2025 exams will run for four days, from Monday, December 1, 2025, to Thursday, December 4, 2025.

“Students of KASNEB, parents, sponsors, guardians, training institutions and other stakeholders are hereby notified that the December 2025 examinations will be administered over a period of four (4) days, from Monday, 1 December 2025 to Thursday, 4 December 2025,” part of the statement reads.

The exams scheduled for that period include Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS), Accounting Technicians Diploma (ATD), Diploma in Data Management and Analytics (DDMA), Diploma in Computer Networks and Systems Administration (DCNSA), and Diploma in Quality Management (DQM).

Other exams listed are Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Certified Secretaries (CS), Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (CIFA), Certified Credit Professionals (CCP), Certified Information Systems Solutions Expert (CISSE), and Certified Forensic Fraud Examiner (CFFE).

Also included are Certified Public Finance Manager (CPFM), Vocational Certificate Courses (VCEI, VCGD, VCICS, and VCBCT), Certified Procurement and Supply Professional of Kenya (CPSP-K), Associate in Procurement and Supply of Kenya (APS-K), Certified Quality Professional (CQP), Business Data Analytics Practical Paper (CPA), and Financial Modelling and Data Analytics Practical Paper (CIFA).

The Foreign Accountancy Qualifications (FAQ) exams will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, and Thursday, December 4, 2025.

KASNEB encouraged candidates to prepare early and make the necessary arrangements so as to avoid complications and possibly missing the exams.

“Candidates are advised to make early arrangements, including seeking permission from employers where applicable, to ensure that they sit for the examinations,” it added.

The board noted that the closing date for both registration and exam entry is Friday, October 31, 2025.

KASNEB further reminded continuing students that annual registration renewal is due by July 1 each year. New students are required to renew their registration from July 1 following their first eligible exam sitting, and every year thereafter.

The candidates were also advised to use the student portal link for fee payments. A detailed guide for this payment method is available within the portal.
