The National Police Service Commission (NPSC) has released a supplementary document revealing key updates to the ongoing recruitment of police constables.
The commission, through a notice issued on Tuesday, September 30, confirmed that the changes were a follow-up to initial advertisements made on two dailies on September 19 and September 20.
According to the NPSC, while the recruitment dates remained unchanged, several recruitment centres had been inadvertently omitted, but have now been included. Others have also been updated to new venues.
New Recruitment Centres
As per NPSC's latest update, the new recruitment dates are as follows:

October 8 – Mathuki DCC’s Grounds, Old Municipal Stadium
October 9 – Mutitu Stadium, St. Luke’s Boys Secondary School

Venue Changes
Contrary to earlier announcements, the NPSC also announced several corrections to earlier advertised centres. The changes are as follows:
Kilifi North: The New venue is Karisa Maitha Stadium.
Nairobi Region, Embakasi Central: Now at Humama Grounds.
Embakasi North: Now at Dandora Stadium.
Bungoma: Recruitment will take place at Sirisia Sports Grounds, Sirisia Sub-County.
Suba West (Homa Bay): Venue moved to Sena Airstrip.
Kiambu County: Kabete Sub-County: New venue is Kirangari Vocational Training Centre.
Chonyi (Kilifi): Now at Banda La Salama.
Nzambani (Kitui): Moved to Chuluni DCC’s Office.
Samburu (Kwale): Now at Kasarani Grounds.
Chuka North (Tharaka Nithi): Venue is Chuka DCC Grounds.
In a separate clarification to applicants, the NPSC stated that National Youth Service (NYS) graduates who meet minimum requirements are eligible to apply, but must present themselves at their designated county recruitment centres.
Applicants must also be between 18 and 28 years old, hold a valid National ID and have a minimum KCSE mean grade of D+ and a similar grade (minimum) in English or Swahili. They must also be Kenyan Citizens.
During recruitment, candidates must present original and copies of their academic certificates, testimonials, national ID, birth certificate, and NYS discharge certificate, where applicable.
In terms of application, candidates are required to download and complete the prescribed application forms from the NPSC website. Forms are also available at Huduma Centres countrywide.
