At the time of publishing, no casualties had been confirmed.
Mombasa Road Accident
The accident occurred after another incident on Thursday night along Mombasa Road.
Reportedly, the crash involved a company van and a private car.
Images from the scene showed that the front of the van had been completely damaged when it hit the car from behind. The car sustained rear damage.
Similar to the Timboroa incident, there were reportedly no casualties.
The exact cause of both accidents has not yet been established.
In the wake of a spate of accidents in recent weeks, the Road Safety Association of Kenya (RSAK) has called for the revocation of all driving licenses issued by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) in the past six years.
RSAK chairperson, David Kiarie, claimed that most licenses issued during that period were given to people who did not attend driving school and just paid for them.
