Citi Hoppa CBD Crush

This came a day after one person died and several others were injured after a Citi Hoppa bus was involved in an accident in Nairobi CBD on Monday, September 13, at night.

Kenya Red Cross reported that the 51-seater bus lost control before eventually overturning, causing injury and trapping passengers.

It was, however, unclear how many passengers the bus was carrying at the time of the accident.

Security and emergency service providers from the Nairobi County Government were immediately dispatched to the scene to help with rescue efforts.
