President William Ruto has dared the united opposition to unveil their agenda for kenyans to prove that they have the vision and plan to run the country.
He said this while addressing congregants at the Kisii Primary School grounds in Kisii County on 22nd November 2025 while attending a church service of the Gospel Embassy Church.
"I saw some friends complaining that citizens say that they are not intelligent, let me ask them, now let's say you are intelligent, why don't you show us your intelligence." Ruto said.
The President also reacted to the fact-checking of his 20th November 2025 State of the Nation address by media houses. Ruto commented that he is not bothered by the fact-checking, insisting that he is delivering his projects.
Several media houses fact-checked Ruto's recent State of the Nation address, verifying the information about the projects and figures that the President told Kenyans in his national address.
He also criticized his opponents for what he called not believing in the country. The President told them to stop aspiring to lead a country that they do not believe in.
A number of opposition leaders have in the past referred to Kenya as a failed state as they criticized President Ruto's government.
The President reiterated his commitment to move the country from being a developing nation to a first-world country.
In his address, the President confirmed his commitment to continue development projects in Kisii County.
He revealed that the planned SGR extension project from Naivasha to Malaba that is expected to channel through Kisii County will begin in January 2026.
