Kiharu Member of Parliament, Ndindi Nyoro, has sponsored five primary school headteachers from schools across his constituency for a five-day holiday trip to Dubai.
The MP revealed the details of the trip through a post on his social media platform on 3rd December 2025, where he stated that the headteachers on the trip had qualified for the MP's motivation packages.
The packages reward teachers for the best subjects, most improved subjects, and headteachers for the best school and most improved schools.
Nyoro says that the teachers have been sponsored on trips to Dubai and Malaysia.
"Headteachers for the best School and most improved School get a trip to Dubai. Those who have been there before travel to Malaysia. The same applies to Day Secondary Schools," the statement by Ndindi Nyoro said.
The teachers have been treated to a five-night fully paid stay in Dubai, which includes a Half Day Dubai City Tour, a Marina Dhow Cruise Dinner, and Entertainment.
Ndindi Nyoro revealed that the academicians will also Visit the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, and also experience a Desert Safari with BBQ Dinner.
Nyoro says that this trip aims to motivate the teachers to ensure better performance in schools in his constituency.
The headteachers currently in Dubai are from Ngaru Primary School, Githagara Primary School, Technology Primary School, Maragi Primary School, and Githuguya Primary School.
In April, Ndindi Nyoro carried out a similar program where he sponsored principals from 11-day schools in the constituency for a benchmarking tour in Dubai and Malaysia.
