Celebrated hip hop artiste Octopizzo revealed why he would never date Kenyan women.
Speaking during NTV's popular show, The Trend, the rapper commonly referred as Octo noted that he was comfortable dating foreigners because they would not treat him as the superstar he is.
The Ivo Ivo hit-maker mentioned that it was stressful for him to date Kenyan women since always want the person they saw on showbiz.
"Unajua blunder hukuanga ukipata mresh mkenya mwenye mimi nalike sana the Octopizzo effect comes in. The Octopizzo effect is huyu mresh hataki kunijua who I am behind the Octopizzo guy on TV," the Namba Nane rapper divulged.
Loosely translated as: "The blunder comes in when I find a Kenyan woman I like very much, the Octopizzo effect comes in. The Octopizzo effect is that the lady does not want to know me beyond the Octopizzo guy on TV."
Octo highlighted that unlike Kenyan women, their white counterparts are unware of his celebrity status hence the relationship would work quite easily.
“But nikimeet mlamwa hajui hata Octo ni nani so tukianza tunaanza the same level. So I introduce myself as a businessman and by the time ajue mimi ni nani ashaingia box (But when I meet a white lady, she does not know Octo therefore we start off from the same level. So I introduce myself as a businessman and by the time she knows I am an artiste she has already given in),” he noted.
The father of two is currently engaged to his longtime Caucasian girlfriend.
