2017 Groove Tour to be Held on Sunday, May 21 in Eldoret

The 2017 Groove Awards gala is set to go down on June 1st when top Kenyan gospel artists will be rewarded for their contribution to the industry.

In the meantime, Groove in collaboration with Safaricom is giving you a chance to have a taste of the fun you should expect at the event by hosting a number of tours to entertain lovers of the gospel.

This Sunday, the party will be going down in Eldoret town where some of the top artistes nominated for the Groove Awards will be staging electrifying performances.

Come join some of the gospel artists including musicians, Djs, MCs and dancers for breathtaking moves and amazing worship experience starting from 1 pm.

The tour will be held at the Eldoret Sports Club and better still, the entry will be absolutely free.

Remember, you can also walk away with lot's of giveaways by being part of the fun. What you need is to simply tweet using #GrooveWithSafaricom and you could go home with a package.

At the same time, vote for your favourite gospel artiste by texting the word "Groove", then space followed by the nominee code to 811. You can also vote online on www.grooveawards.co.ke.

Last Sunday, residents of Machakos got to celebrate the Mother's day in a special way when the party landed at their doorstep.

A couple of musicians and DJs did justice to the moment with electrifying performances from top artistes including Size 8, Guardian Angel, Daddy Owen, Eko Dydda, Alemba, the Groove Dancers, DJ Sadic among others.
