Wetangula Accuses DP Ruto of Behaving Like Illiterate Person

Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has mocked Deputy President (DP) William Ruto claiming that he behaves like an illiterate man even though he is educated.

Speaking during a meeting in Kanduyi, the Ford Kenya leader said that Ruto's argument on key issues are not any different from "those of a man who has never set foot into a classroom to learn".

"I wonder what he was doing in class...was he just planning when his grabbing spree would start?" Wetangula posed.

Last year, Ruto distanced himself from allegations of land grabbing and involvement in extrajudicial killings.

The Senator pointed out Ruto's dismissal of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) report that cautioned Kenya on foreign borrowing and the state of the economy.

“How can a person who went to school rubbish bodies like World Bank and IMF?" he wondered.

He blasted the Jubilee regime, stating that the alleged corruption being witnessed in the government can only be led by one illiterate person.

The Bungoma senator accused Ruto of questionable source of wealth claiming that the DP lacked the moral authority to meddle in the affairs of National Super Alliance.

"Let him stop telling lies about us because we are going to tell Kenyans lots of truth about them," he asserted.
