Jubilee Party will be flexing its financial muscle this Friday in an ambitious plan to secure at least 500,000 votes from Ukambani region.
Each Member of Parliament (MP) who defected to Jubilee from the region will receive a Prado to drive the campaigns of Uhuru Kenyatta.
The team of MPs led by Mbooni MP Kisoi Munyao has also been issued with two trucks and Sh60 Million campaign materials.
The MPs are funded by professionals and prominent business people drawn from Kitui, Machakos, Makueni Counties.
Munyao disclosed that the team has been tasked with “leading the Kamba community in the right political direction".
“We must tell our people the truth - that the opposition has nothing to offer,” Munyao disclosed to a local newspaper.
This Friday, the team of Wiper rebel MPs will meet professionals to finalise on the campaign strategy.
The campaign team includes Health Cabinet Secretary Cleopa Mailu, Monica Juma (Foreign Affairs PS) and her ICT counterpart Victor Kyalo.
