Tunza Coalition Presidential aspirant Abduba Dida Finds 'Naked Women' at IEBC Offices

Tunza Coalition Presidential aspirant Abduba Dida on Tuesday stated that he found 'naked women' at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) offices when he went to present his papers.

Speaking during the IEBC's pre-nomination meeting with Presidential aspirants, Dida put the commission's chairman Wafula Chebukati on the spot by saying he should pay more attention to what happens in his office.

"When I presented my signatures to IEBC last night, there were women who were naked. My daughter asked me 'daddy, how come there are so many naked women'?" he said at Nairobi Safari Club.

Dida also highlighted the fact that this year's election will attract the highest number of independent candidates because Kenyans were tired of the usual faces.

"[The fact that there are 4,000 independent candidates] is a good indication we are not happy with the current leadership. If your father has failed you, it is your responsibility to say, "Dad, go and rest," he said.

Earlier this year, Dida stated that he was President Uhuru Kenyatta's only serious opponent because he understood problems Kenyans faced.

In 2013, he vied for the Presidency and emerged 5th and the following year, his appointment as chairman of the Constituency Development Fund was revoked by the Head of State.

Dida, a teacher by profession, is well known for his comic way of putting across his points and Kenyans are eager to see how he will perform in the Presidential debate slated for July 10 and 24.
