Nairobi Governor Seat Candidates Including Nairobi Teacher Christopher Mokaya

A one time Nairobi teacher Christopher Alvin Mokaya believes he has what it takes to oust incumbent Governor of Nairobi Evans Kidero along with the other top contenders, Senator Mike Sonko and former Gatanga Member of Parliament Peter Kenneth

Mr Mokaya describes himself as a Christian of high moral standing and integrity who worships at the Nairobi Central Seventh Day Adventist Church.

He asserts that he received a calling to either be the next governor of Nairobi or join Senate and he has stated that this divine motivation inspired him to vie in the gubernatorial race.

The independent candidate takes his inexperience as a politician as an advantage with his slogan that states: "Kijana Bora, Jiji Bora" (The Best Youth for the Best City).

He has made promises to the residents of the Capital City especially those who conduct business within the town outlining that he will ensure their businesses thrive.

"I will have incentives and programs that will attract business people and investors to Nairobi County as it is business that stands out as the backbone of the city, a move that will also help the national government earn more revenue," he stated.

Mokaya is set to unveil his running mate today mentioning that he has picked him from a team of knowledgeable financial, ICT, Engineering, Business experts and technocrats.
