President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto are scheduled to hand-in their nomination papers to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on Monday afternoon.
The President will spend the better part of the morning in Nairobi's Eastlands region where he will addresss his supporters at various stops begining at Pipeline Estate.
According to Thika Town Member of Parliament Alice Ng'ang'a, the procession will accompany the President through various stops along Jogoo Road and finally march into the Central Business District (CBD) to the KICC where he will officially present his papers.
"As the Jubilee party we have officially kicked off our campaigns and we are confident we have done our work diligently for the past four years.
"We will begin our march from Pipeline Estate, then proceed to Donholm, Makadara, City Stadium and finally to Muthurwa Market. From there we shall march on foot as we accompany the President to present his papers at KICC," Ms Ng'ang'a outlined.
Among those cleared to vie for the Presidency by IEBC on Sunday were opposition leader Raila Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, Mr Ekuru Aukot (Third Way Alliance), Independent aspirant Joseph Nyaga, and Alliance for Real Change presidential candidate Abduba Dida.
The rest of the week will see President Kenyatta officially launch operations of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) with an inaugural ride from Mombasa to Nairobi on Wednesday.
He will be accompanied by hundreds of Kenyans from all walks of life, diplomats and Chinese envoys and special guests.
