Popular comedian and TV host Bush Sande, popularly known as Dr Ofweneke, has broken his long silence over a photo posted by his ex-fiance, gospel singer Nicah, born Veronica Wanja.
Nicah had posted the photo in March this year soon after their break-up insinuating that she had been abused.
"Domestic violence is such a bad thing...I had to walk away...I had to run...yes I'm a single mum of two and I know God will watch over me and my kids...," her Instagram caption read.

In an interview published on Eve Woman on Wednesday, Dr Ofweneke questioned the fact that his ex-lover had already pulled down the photo, creating the impression that it had been fabricated.
"If you look for that picture now you won't find it. It was pulled down. Why?" he questioned.
The comedian was angry that the accusations against him had been publicised without his side of the story and his good standing had been tainted as a result.
"My daughter will read about this in years to come and she will see these damaging stories. No blogger has bothered to reach me to find out my side of the story. They just run with whatever they want," he lamented.
When asked about his two-month silence on the nasty break up and the rumours that had been propagated against him, he conveyed that he had deliberately avoided public discussions on it.
"This [the rumours] is why I have refused to do interviews for the last two months. All I can say is that there are always two sides to a story. I want to say sorry to my fans who might have been disappointed at the way this whole thing turned out. But I want them to know that I am the same Dr Ofweneke they have always known," he explained.

Dr Ofweneke had no kind words for the journalists who publicised his break up with Nicah, the mother of his only daughter.
"I want these bloggers to know that when they write stories about people they don't even know, they destroy families. Shame on you," he condemned.
He made it clear that he is not a proponent of violence against women due to his high regard for them.
"I want people to know that I respect women so much and have never and will never condone violence against women," the funnyman asserted.
The TV host further revealed that he and his ex-lover were friendly but there was no possibility of getting back together.
He also dismissed claims that he was not providing child support for his daughter.
