President Uhuru Kenyatta Asks Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto to Join Jubilee

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Saturday asked Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto to join the Jubilee Party.

President Kenyatta noted that the Opposition had no plans for the country and asked Governor Ruto to be part of his team so that he could assist Deputy President William Ruto in his 2022 presidential bid.

The Head of State mentioned that the Governor would not have won in the 2013 polls if it were not for their support and explained that Ruto had kicked them out instead of backing their re-election.

" Kweli wazungu walisema asante ya punda ni mateke, loosely translated to ....it is true what the Whiteman said, a donkey is ungrateful and kicks instead of saying thank you," Uhuru stated.

Reacting to sentiments by the Opposition leaders during their rally in Kakamega on Saturday that they will improve the lives of Kenyans if they win the August elections, President Kenyatta stated that the Opposition leaders failed to deliver when they had the opportunity to transform the lives of Kenyans.

“Opposition leaders are now thriving on propaganda and politics based on tribalism to achieve their selfish ends,” said President Kenyatta.

The President asked the residents to reject individuals who had no agenda for the country and re-elect Jubilee for them to complete their projects.

Deputy President Ruto on his part stated that NASA had resorted to borrowing the Jubilee’s development agenda for the country because they have nothing new to offer Kenyans.

“Opposition leaders are clueless because they keep on discussing Jubilee instead of telling Kenyans what they have for them.

“Don’t be copy cats, come up with original ideas if you want Kenyans to take you seriously,” Ruto told the Opposition.

Members of Parliament  Kipchumba Murkomen (Elgeyo Marakwet), Moses Kuria (Gatundu South) and Ferdinand Waititu (Kabete) said the Opposition should be prepared for a humiliating defeat come the August General Election.

President Kenyatta, DP Ruto, and the other Jubilee leaders were speaking in Olenguruone town Nakuru County during his second day of meet the people tour.
