Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi on Thursday revealed that Opposition Leader Raila Odinga would be taken to the International Criminal Court (ICC) by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.
According to Ngunyi, President Kenyatta and DP Ruto have enough reasons to frame the National Super Alliance (NASA) flag bearer and are collecting evidence to take him (Raila) in.
In a tweet, the analyst explained that Kenya had not pulled out of the ICC so that the President and his deputy could lock Raila there.

Meanwhile, Prof Ngunyi in his weekly piece dubbed the Fifth Estate noted that the upcoming election could result in the formation of a coalition government as there was no clear winner, adding that the former Prime Minister would force a 'Nusu-Mkate' government as his plan B.
"We disagree with the myth that a coalition government will never happen again in Kenya. For status, if we are 2 months to the election and there is no clear winner, we are headed for a coalition government zero options.
"Whatever Uhuru does, if he wins Raila will force a grand coalition. This is his plan B," the analyst stated.
He further noted that the coalition government would happen with or without Raila.
"Although Raila trusts his NASA Principals, we as a nation do not trust their intention. They will betray him.
"If Raila loses elections narrowly Uhuru will offer Prime Minister job to Kalonzo Musyoka and he will take it, then he will offer Musalia Mudavadi a position and he will take it. This is how Raila will be left alone in the streets," the political analyst explained.
Ngunyi took a swipe at the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Leader stating that Raila was a tired idea and calling himself 'Joshua' was a disaster.
