News reaching our desk indicate that this year's Groove Party with Safaricom will not be held in Nairobi.
A source in the event's organising committee told Kenyans.co.ke that the New Year's bash will be going down in Machakos and Thika concurrently.
"Groove Party will not be held in Nairobi as it has been the norm. The party will head to Machakos and Thika," the source divulged.
The party dubbed 'GP on The Move', will have popular gospel Disk Joskeys DJ Mo and DJ Sadic mobilise crowds in their allocated location ahead of the mega show.
According to the grapevine, the duo will go head-to-head to popularise the event set to go down on December 31st in the two towns.
We are informed that each town will host its own star artistes and DJs in the gospel industry who will ensure the new year is ushered in style.
The organizers appear tight-lipped on the elaborate plans to unveil the well-orchestrated details of the launch.
This will be one of the boldest moves in Kenyan entertainment to date.
