Former Minister for Roads and veteran politician Franklin Bett is admitted at Nairobi Hospital.
Bett has been at the hospital for a few days now and it's not yet clear what saw him hospitalised.
The former Bureti MP, however, disclosed that he had undergone a minor surgery and was recuperating well in Nairobi.
"I am still retained in hospital. I am recuperating well. I appreciate the doctors and all the medical staff in Nairobi Hospital," the former legislator stated on Monday.
Bett was serving as the chairman of Agricultural Finance Corporation (AFC) a position to which he was appointed by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
During the recent Jubilee Party nominations, Bett, who was seeking the Kericho Senatorial ticket, lost to incumbent Senator, Aaron Cheruiyot.
