A Chinese businessman has been left counting losses after thugs raided his home in Nairobi's Kilimani Estate making away with Sh2 Million.
According to Nairobi Police Commander Japheth Koome, the Chinese man lives alone in the house which is well secured.
The businessman stated that he had withdrawn the money from a bank to pay his workers and had stored the cash in a safe in his bedroom.
He left to run some errands and came back at about 9 pm when he found the money and other valuables missing.
Koome noted that two security guards who were on duty went missing after the incident.
We suspect the guards are behind the incident, but a hunt is ongoing,” the Police Commander stated.
