National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga has emerged as Kenya's top politician in a list featuring 100 most popular political leaders in 2017.
In the survey conducted by Kenyans.co.ke, President Uhuru Kenyatta came second with his deputy, William Ruto, coming in a close third.
Other notable figures who beat seasoned politicians are Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho and Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko who emerged sixth and ninth respectively.

The edition features leaders who are currently active in the political arena and considered several aspects of what makes a politician.
One of the criteria used to come up with the list is their experience in terms of the number of years the leader has been in politics and managed to remain relevant.
It also considered the individual's popularity, influence and impact on social media as well as the current position the leader holds e.g. President, Governor, MP.
On the position held, marks were awarded depending on how powerful the position the leader holds is.
Another crucial aspect that guided the preparation of the list was any other position held outside politics such being a Minister, an Ambassador, parastatal boss.
Lastly, the leaders garnered points depending on the clout one has nationally, as well as how active they have been in the past two years.
