Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula Endorse Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago

A section of National Super Alliance (NASA) principals has endorsed Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago for re-election.

Led by Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula, the leaders stated that they would support the incumbent as he seeks another five-year term.

The leaders were speaking during a mega rally held in Eldoret that was attended by NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga and other Opposition leaders.

The announcement seemed to excite Mandago supporters who were after the rally seen interacting with those of the Alliance.

Mandago is vying for the governorship on a Jubilee ticket against his main competitor Kiprop Buzeki who is an independent candidate.

During the rally, the NASA candidate urged the area residents to support his presidential bid so that he can solve some of the problems affecting the country.

Odinga assured that if the Alliance takes over power after the August polls, his government would provide low-cost housing especially to the youth and single mothers.

He maintained that the Opposition would still proceed with the contested adopt a polling station plan to ensure that there would be no rigging in any centre.

He further called on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to follow the law during the voting and tallying of the votes.
