NASA Principal Kalonzo Musyoka Heckled in Makueni After Campaigning for Wiper Candidate

National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential running mate Kalonzo Musyoka was forced to cut short his speech in Makueni County after being heckled by the residents.

The situation turned ugly after Musyoka tried to drum up support for Wiper candidates in the upcoming August elections.

While addressing residents in Makuyuni, the Wiper chief tried to endorse Wiper candidate Joshua Kimilu for Kaiti parliamentary seat but was booed by alleged supporters of People's Trust Party candidate Joseph Kioko.

The crowd raised Kioko’s posters and chanted his name in protest to Musyoka’s support for his party candidates.

The former Vice President was eventually shouted down by an infuriated crowd after he failed to acknowledge the People’s Trust Party and Muungano Party while naming the parties that make up the NASA coalition.

Later, Kimilu accused his rival of ferrying goons to the rally venue to disrupt and create a commotion.

On Wednesday, three people were shot in Marsabit moments after President Uhuru Kenyatta concluded his rally in the town.
