National Super Alliance (NASA) flag bearer Raila Odinga's billboard has been vandalised barely a week after it was erected.
The banner which had been mounted in Karatina town, Nyeri county had the image of Odinga and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka.
The billboard was reportedly brought down on Friday night by unknown individuals.
Confirming the incident, ODM candidate for Mathira parliamentary, Chris Maina Kiruta accused a section of Jubilee supporters of vandalising the billboard.
Kiruta faulted those responsible for the destruction maintaining that every political leader had a right to campaign in any part of the country.
The aspirant added that he was hopeful the Opposition would gather more votes in the August General Election despite the region being a Jubilee stronghold.
He finally urged NASA and Jubilee supporters in the region to remain calm and conduct their campaigns in peace.
