Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed has come under fire after she posted a tweet campaigning for President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The CS posted a tweet stating: "Jubilee Government has done a lot; we need another term to deliver all promises made to Kenyans."
Accompanying the tweet were photos of her speaking to a section of members of the Islamic faith who appeared to have come together for a political meeting endorsing President Kenyatta.
Present at the meeting were also notable Muslim clerics, including the Council of Imams and Preachers of Kenya (CIPK) Secretary, Sheikh Mohammed Khalifa.
Aside from the traditional hijab adorned by Muslim women, Ambassador Mohamed had a Jubilee Party bandana wrapped around her wrist.

The tweet attracted a public backlash from a number of social media users who disagreed with both her claim and the apparent breach of the law.
