19 people have been injured after a bus they were traveling in overturned on Mombasa Road near Konza City.
The injured have been taken to Machakos Level 5 hospital for treatment.
Kenya Redcross confirmed the incident in a tweet stating: "19 people injured taken to Machakos level 5 hospital by @EMS_Kenya & Machakos County ambulance. No fatalities reported."
Meanwhile, 7 people were killed and 15 others injured on Tuesday evening after a vehicle they were travelling in got involved in an accident at Ndara in Taita Taveta County.
The accident reportedly occurred after the 14-seater matatu was involved in a head on collision with a Nairobi-bound truck.
Confirming the incident, Taita Taveta Traffic Commander, Michael Murethi stated that the matatu – which was travelling from Voi Town to Kasighau, was overloaded with 22 passengers.
The injured were transferred to Moi Referral Hospital in Voi while the bodies were moved to the hospital’s mortuary.
