A Nyeri Bishop was on Wednesday humiliated and badly beaten by his irate wife after he was caught in a compromising situation with his brother's wife.
Bishop Timothy Wanyoike was ambushed by his brother Kariuki Macharia who suspected the 'man of God' was having an affair with his pregnant wife, 21-year-old Scholar Kairuki.
The 40-year-old bishop fell into the trap set by his brother who, after monitoring his wife’s text messages, decided to trick the two catching them pants down.
In the scheme which also included Wanyoike’s wife Margret, the pastor was caught in his brother’s house in Skuta area, Nyeri town where they beat and shamed him as camera men filmed.
Macharia and the bishop's wife rained blows on Wanyoike as he tried to plead for them to calm down and talk things through.
He was frog-marched outside the residential houses where he received more beating from the two.
Macharia suspected that the affair had been going on for four years and decided to lay the trap making them believe he had gone for a field assignment but stayed around to get the right opportunity to pounce.
