Marakwet East Parliamentary candidate Linah Kilimo's car has been sprayed with bullets.
The incident happened a few kilometres away from the Chesoi tallying centre.
The attack happened a few minutes after armed men raided Galole tallying centre in Tana River county killing one person and injuring several others.
According to witnesses, five knife-wielding men attacked that centre disrupting the vote counting process as IEBC officials, agents and supporters scampered for safety.
Police managed to shoot dead two of the attackers as the three others escaped on foot.
