President Kenyatta is expected to head to the National Tallying Centre at the Bomas of Kenya ahead of the official announcement of the results.

Leaders from all political divides have converged at Bomas where the IEBC is finalising verification of the results from the constituencies.

Key among government leaders at the tallying centre is Deputy President William Ruto, Cabinet Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and senior police bosses.

Earlier on, National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga, accompanied by the Opposition entourage arrived at Bomas and held a meeting with the electoral body.

In the latest update, IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba has urged all guests to be patient as the body finalises collating the results from the form 34Bs.

According to Chiloba, forms from 288 out of 290 constituencies have been received and the Commission is awaiting the remaining ones before announcing the final tally.
