The National Super Alliance (NASA) abruptly shut down operations in their Runda presidential tallying centre on Friday afternoon amid fears of an impending attack.
The officials within the facility were forced to close down operations after they allegedly received news that police from the Flying Squad unit were on their way to the facility.
Panic stricken officials shut down computers and cordoned off parts of the nerve centre in panic.
"I've been told and I've received a few text messages from sources that there's a likelihood that we may be raided," NASA Strategist, who is heading the operations, David Ndii told journalists.
Mr Ndii had just given journalists a tour of their facility, explaining each part of their operations and taken some interviews with various media stations.
The officials, however, stated that their data was secure and any attack on their system would not derail their operations.
"We have servers here, we have servers outside the country and we have servers in the cloud so we still have good storage. The only temporary set back will be on the printouts we have," one official conveyed.
NASA luminary Johnstone Muthama confirmed the incident during an address at the IEBC National Tallying Centre at Bomas of Kenya soon after the events.
According to Mr Muthama, the officers were on a mission to destroy the evidence the Opposition had collected.
He added that their data proves that the election has been flawed and rigged in favour of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
