Former US Secretary John Kerry Attacked Online After Tweet About Kenyan Elections

Former US Secretary of State John Kerry was on Monday attacked by Kenyans online after he posted a tweet urging anyone with a dispute regarding the just concluded elections to move to court.

Mr Kerry, who was leading the Kenya Elections Observers Group, also urged the Police to allow peaceful demonstrations.

"All the people of Kenya are in my thoughts. I urge all to address all complaints through the courts and for the police to allow for peaceful protests," he wrote.

Last week, the former US Secretary of State had advised the National Super Alliance (NASA) to use the legitimate process when challenging the election results.
