IEBC Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi Reveals Unknown Details of NASA's Election Petition

Renowned lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has revealed unknown details on the National Super Alliance (NASA) petition against the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

Through his social media account, Mr Abdullahi, who is popularly referred to as the Grand Mulla, revealed that the NASA petition was not 25,000 pages as earlier reported.

"The NASA petition is not 25,000 pages. It is not 9,000 pages. It is about 3,000 pages," he wrote.

He further added that the petition filed by Raila Odinga was weaker as compared to the one filed during the 2013 petition.

"From my readings of the petition filed by Honorable Raila, I can sincerely say that his 2013 petition is 1000 times better conceptualized, stronger," he conveyed.

Earlier on, Ahmednasir revealed why NASA would lose the Presidential election petition they filed at the Supreme Court against President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election.

Speaking on Citizen TV's JKL Live show, Ahmednassir noted that NASA had a difficult case to prove to the court that extra votes had been added to the incumbent.
