Angry Youth Take Over Siaya County Offices to Identify Staff Who Campaigned Against Cornel Rasanga

There was drama on Tuesday morning as angry youth stationed themselves at the Siaya County offices to vet staff members.

The youth denied entry to county officials perceived to have been against the re-election of Governor Cornel Rasanga.

A number of Chief Officers and Directors avoided the premises in fear that they might be thrown out of their offices.

Most of the county offices remained closed as the youth conducted their operation.

Governor Rasanga had issued a stern warning to his County Government officers during his inauguration ceremony on Monday.

He announced that he will ensure all county workers who supported his opponents in the concluded elections are sacked.

According to the county boss, people who supported his rivals in the hotly contested race did not deserve to work in his administration.
