Lawyer Jackson Awele Speaks on Losing Vital Documents at Supreme Court

One of the lawyers who represented National Super Alliance (NASA) flag bearer Raila Odinga during the presidential petition has divulged that he lost vital data during the hearings at the Supreme Court.

Lawyer Jackson Awele stated that he lost a black laptop bag that contained vital documents after he went out to join Odinga’s team in verifying forms 34A and 34B at the Milimani Law Courts.

Wele stated that after he returned to the Court, one of his colleagues informed him that a man had come for the bag claiming he had been sent by the lawyer.

“I asked around but unfortunately no one had seen the guy and unfortunately we cant be able to get any video evidence since the Supreme Court does not have any cameras,” Wele stated.

On Saturday, the lawyer offered to give a generous reward to anyone who could find the bag with its contents or provide information leading to the recovery of the contents with or without the bag.

The post read in part, “I lost a computer bag at the Supreme Court between 28th and 1st September. I am offering a generous monetary reward (5 figure) for anyone with it and even more generous reward to whoever can find its contents or provide information leading to the recovery of its contents, with or without it (the bag).”
