Jubilee Party Leaders campaigning for President Uhuru Kenyatta were on Wednesday forced to temporarily cut short their rally at Wundanyi after an attack by a swarm of bees.
The bees struck when Jubilee leaders were about to start the rally at the Wundanyi stage.
Following the attack, the supporters were forced to flee from the rally scene to hide from the bees
Calm, however, resumed later when the bees fled after prayers from a local Jubilee politician Peter Mwakio.

The leaders blamed the attack on Satan. Among the leaders who attended the rally were Taveta MP Naomi Shaban, Woman Representative Lydia Haika and several parliamentary and county assembly losers.
The attack comes only three weeks after a swarm of bees attacked Jubilee and National Super Alliance (NASA) supporters outside the Supreme Court leaving one person seriously injured.
The victim, a physically challenged beggar, was rushed to hospital by St Johns Ambulance attendants who quickly rushed to the scene.
There were varied explanations to the source of the bees, with some claiming they may have been taken there by a group of supporters while others said they descended on them from a nearby beehive.
“God was with us today because even as police tear-gassed us, the bees were with us. Signs of bees is a sign of change; that’s why they went for the police and not us,” one Opposition supporter told Capital FM.
