Declare Raila a National Disaster - Jubilee Leaders

A section of Jubilee party leaders from Nakuru county now want the National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga declared a 'national disaster' owing to his constant opposition to Jubilee government.

Speaking in Kuresoi while campaigning for President Uhuru Kenyatta, the leaders who were elected under the Jubilee party further cautioned the area residents against mentioning Mr Odinga's name claiming that it had 'sent many to their graves.'

"Raila's objective is to frustrate the country. He knows he was born to be a failure and will never rise to the Presidency," the leaders were quoted by The Star.

During the rally graced by Nakuru governor Lee Kinyanjui, his deputy Dr Erick Korir noted that the former Prime Minister destabilised the country's economy by filing the election petition that led to the nullification of Mr Kenyatta's victory.

Nominated MP Kibet Komen on his part indicated that "the life of Raila is simply characterised by bloodshed among the poor Kenyans."

Nakuru woman representative Liza Chelule defended the Jubilee MP's move to amend the electoral laws stating that the goal is to foster stability ahead of the election.

"All legislators were elected to make laws. What we are doing is simply to ensure Kenya is safe during elections by allowing the vice chair and any of the commissioners to announce results," she said.

Kuresoi South MP Joseph Tonui termed the Orange Democratic Movement ODM leader 'Sumbua Kenya' (disturb Kenya).

"This perennial loser disturbed retired presidents Daniel Moi and Mwai Kibaki, and he is now on Uhuru's case. Let's send him to everlasting packing in the next election," Tonui said.

The Jubilee leaders campaigned in Nakuru town, Kiptagich, Njoro and Mau Narok.
