President Uhuru Kenyatta Rules Out Possibility Of Raila Attaining Power

President Kenyatta has ruled out the possibility of opposition leader Raila Odinga ascending to power.

The President affirmed that there is no leader who can access power through incitement and violence as all authority is vested in the people who can only give it through the ballot.

President Kenyatta, who was accompanied by the Deputy President William Ruto was addressing citizens in Shamata, Nyandarua County.

“His focus is organizing protests and calling for a press conference to incite violence,” the President stated.

“Looting, mass action, and violence against women is not the way to go” he added.

Deputy President Ruto echoed the President’s sentiments stating, “He is calling for mass action to incite violence so that he can get to power through the back door.”

“There is no other way of getting to power, it is only through the votes of citizens,” he declared.
