Why Kenyans Can't Stop Talking About SportPesa's New Tujiamini Initiative

Kenyan number one sports betting company SportPesa has been a subject of discussion for the past week after they launched a new platform for Kenyans to celebrate and appreciate their sports personalities.

Under the Tujiamini initiative, SportPesa hopes to change the way Kenyans perceive sporting activities and the different sports personalities.

The project is anchored on three main agendas that include; inspiring young sportsmen and women in the country to keep working hard.

Secondly, the campaign aims at urging stakeholders to participate and invest in sporting activities in the country.

Most importantly, Tujiamini hopes to rally Kenyans to support and embrace their Sports and the different personalities involved.

During the launch, SportPesa Chief Executive Officer (CEO)  Captain Ronald Karauri underscored the importance of appreciating sporting activities and explained that Tujiamini will revolutionise the way Kenyans perceive sports.

"Kenyans hold the key to changing the tide of sports. Today we launch a movement that will change sports for the better," Karauri stated.

The CEO explained that many sports personalities were languishing in poverty yet they have done the country proud by winning medals.

"It is unfortunate that some of our sporting heroes are wallowing in poverty and we have all but forgotten them," he stated.

Tujiamini will provide a website where Kenyans can write articles to appreciate their sportsmen and women.

The launch brought together Kenyan sports legends that include; Maurice Ochieng, Mohamud Abbas, Bobby Ogolla, Joe Kadenge, Kipchoge Keino, Miky Weche, Rugby Legend Ambassador Awori among others.
